32nd: Excavation and recovery operation in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province (Sep. 2011)

- In May 2011, shells, etc. were found in Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. In June 2011, with the official notification from the Chinese Government, the Foreign Ministry dispatched an investigation team to the site. As a result of the investigation, 4 ACWs were confirmed.
In addition, it was proved that there were more shells, etc. at locations where the shells, etc. had been found, which could be ACWs. For this reason, from August of that year, excavation and recovery operations were conducted by the Cabinet Office.
